Job Description
DIRECTOR, DIVISION OF MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES National Science Foundation, Arlington, VA

NSF’s Directorate for Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MPS) seek candidates for the position of Director, Division of Mathematical Sciences. The incumbent provides leadership and direction to the Division, which supports a wide range of projects aimed at developing and exploring the properties and applications of mathematical structures. Appointment to this Senior Executive Service position may be on a career basis, or on a 1-to-3 year limited term basis, with a salary range of $153,200 to $171,882. Alternatively, the incumbent may be assigned under Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA) provisions.
