Job Description
The Department of Biostatistics at the Harvard School of Public Health has an immediate opening in CBAR for a Ph.D.-level Research Associate or Research Scientist statistician to work in the AIDS Clinical Trials Group. Successful applicant will join over 120 statisticians, epidemiologists and research staff collaborating in large, randomized, multi-center clinical trials and related research evaluating HIV treatment and treatment side-effects in adults. Position will be working on design, monitoring, and analyses of clinical trials and observational data; applied and methodological experience is preferred. Applicants should demonstrate strong quantitative skills to take a leadership role in the AIDS Clinical Trials Group. Applicants should demonstrate the ability to: conduct collaborative and methodological research; work independently in the design, conduct monitoring and analysis of clinical trial and longitudinal data; work collaboratively with a team of researchers in the development and completion of analyses; and mentor and supervise staff.

Requirements
Doctoral degree in biostatistics or related field. Research Scientist appointment requires at least two years applied experience beyond doctorate. Applicants should demonstrate evidence of the ability to conduct collaborative and methodological research and work independently in the design, conduct, monitoring and analysis of trial and observational studies. Applicants should also demonstrate strong quantitative skills and have interest in assuming a leadership role. Experience with multi-center clinical trials a plus.
