The Department of Biostatistics at the Harvard School of Public Health has an immediate opening in CBAR for a Ph.D.-level Research Associate or Research Scientist statistician to work in the International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials Group (IMPAACT). Successful applicant will join over 100 statisticians and epidemiologists collaborating in multi-center clinical trials and related research in AIDS and HIV. Position will be working collaboratively with teams of researchers on design, monitoring, and analyses of Phase II and III clinical trials and on observational cohort studies; conduct project-related methodological research; initiate and conduct database studies; and supervise master's level staff. It is anticipated that successful candidate will take an active role in leadership at CBAR and ultimately in the IMPAACT Network itself.

Requirements
Doctoral degree in biostatistics or related field. Research Scientist appointment requires at least two years applied experience beyond doctorate. Experience with multi-center clinical trials a plus. Applicants should demonstrate evidence of the ability to conduct collaborative and methodological research and work independently in the design, conduct, monitoring and analysis of trial data. Applicants should demonstrate strong quantitative skills and have interest in assuming a leadership role.
