The Statistics Department is an academic unit, within the Division of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, College of Letters and Science at the University of California, Davis. The department currently has 19 faculty, three full-time lecturers, 120+ graduate students, nearly 400 undergraduate majors, and 9 career staff. Statistics offers an undergraduate major and minor, as well as masters and doc...toral degrees in statistics and biostatistics. The department also administers the Statistical Laboratory, a not-for-profit consulting effort, which offers some training opportunity to graduate students, as well as providing a valuable consulting service to the University and private community.
