As a Senior Research Biostatistician, you will provide statistical support to researchers at the Cancer Institute and to other departments at the Medical Center. It includes: collaboration and consultation with faculty on design and development of research projects, data management and statistical analysis for current research projects; and preparation of reports and manuscripts.
The candidate must have a Masters degree, in biostatistics or a statistics-related discipline and 5 or more years of experience as a biostatistician; superb communication skills, strong data analysis and programming skills; proficiency in R and/or SAS; and experience in analysis of clinical trial and laboratory data. Experience analyzing cancer-related data is desirable but not required - opportunities exist for collaborations in other disease areas. Proficiency in programming languages such as FORTRAN or C is a plus.
