Conduct a variety of stat. analyses, incl. data mining, predictive modeling &/or actuarial techniques. Review analyses & provides direction and insight. Work w/ adv. stat. analyses, actuarial &/or research methods, broad business knowledge &/or in-depth line of business knowledge.
Must possess at least a PhD in Dec. Sci., Finance, Stat., Math, Ops. Research, CS, Econ., Eng., Actuarial Sci. or other quant. field. In the alt., at least a master's or its equiv. & at least 3 yrs. of relevant Stat. Analysis exp. would be acceptable. Must possess classroom training/project &/or work exp. to include: performing quantitative analysis & using SAS or similar stat. & DB mgmt. software; using DB principles, predictive modeling statistical methods, incl. generalized linear models, Decision Trees, cluster analysis, neural networks, text mining, appl. of multivariate stat. techniques to lg. scale DBs, &/or math programming and optimization modeling; & using relational DB software. Any suitable combo of education, training &/or work exp. would be acceptable.
