Whitman College has a one-year visiting faculty position available in Statistics effective August 2018. Renewal of the appointment for a second year is possible. A Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics or a related field is required; a Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics or a related field would be desirable.
The successful candidate will primarily teach Statistics courses at the introductory level, with other classes possible depending on the needs of the department and the candidate's specialty.
