Two post-doctoral Statistics research positions at University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), Australia, are available, supervised by: Professor Louise Ryan, FAA and Professor Matt Wand, FAA.
Professors Ryan and Wand are leading researchers in applied and methodological Statistics. They are both fellows of the Australian Academy of Science (FAA) and have received several awards for their research accomplishments.
The successful candidates will join a small but vibrant and growing Statistics group within the UTS School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences under the leadership of Professors Ryan and Wand. Professors Peter Green and Raymond Carroll have faculty appointments and routinely visit and collaborate with group members.

Doctoral qualifications in Statistics.
Familiarity with the R computing environment.
Familiarity with hierarchical Bayesian models.
Broad knowledge of statistical design and analysis.
Knowledge of the characteristics of reflective, academic writing.
Previous experience in conducting research in Statistics.
