The Department of Pediatrics in the University of Washington School of Medicine and Seattle Children’s Research Institute seek candidates for a position as a full-time Biostatistician with a faculty appointment at the level of Research Professor (any rank, Assistant, Associate, or Full). This candidate will join the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Therapeutics Development Network Coordinating Center, which supports an impactful multicenter clinical trials network for CF studies. The successful candidate will provide leadership in the design, implementation, and analysis of clinical research studies in the area of CF and pulmonary medicine. The candidate will join a strong faculty team to seek new grant opportunities, lead the design of multicenter trials and observational and comparative effectiveness studies, supervise and mentor junior biostatisticians, provide statistical training to fellows and researchers, initiate methodological research, and collaborate in manuscript publication.

Candidates should have a PhD in Biostatistics or Statistics and years of experience commensurate with rank. A strong record of collaborative research is required. An understanding of clinical trials, methods for observational studies, and Bayesian methods is preferred; excellent written and interpersonal skills are essential.
