Assurance Manager, Business Advisory Services (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Philadelphia, PA. Utilize predictive analysis to advise clients on issues pertaining to enterprise risk management, capital management and modeling, financial due diligence and valuation, reinsurance strategy and modeling, and claims cost management. Provide a comprehensive range of commercially-focused services and solutions to all types of property and casualty insurers and reinsurers. Assist insurers with actuarial modernization, process improvement, risk and capital management, value analyses, deals and financial reporting. Conduct financial due diligence and valuation, transfer pricing, tax reserving reviews and other actuarial-related services for all lines of business. Demonstrate in-depth technical expertise. Establish and maintain client relationships. Stay educated on current trends and assist in the development of knowledge capital. Coach and supervise staff.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Actuarial Science, Applied Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelors progressive related work experience; OR a Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Actuarial Science, Applied Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
Identifying and addressing client needs for a global network of professional services consulting firms;
Demonstrating financial reporting standards;
Implementing public company accounting and audit practices;
Demonstrating technical knowledge of all aspects of predictive analytics development, including data extraction and processing, independent variable analysis, multivariate analysis, and model validation;
Demonstrating knowledge of at least two of the following statistical analytics development techniques: linear regression, generalized linear models, non-linear models, decision trees, cluster analysis, and neural networks; and
Defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection.
Travel Required up to 60%.
