The Department of Mathematics is seeking qualified applicants for a faculty position in Actuarial Science. Robert Morris University is a Center of Actuarial Excellence, as officially designated by the Society of Actuaries. Applicants should possess or be near completion of a doctorate in actuarial science, statistics, or related field and have teaching and research interests in Actuarial Science and Statistics. Ideally, applicants will possess a professional actuarial qualification, or be well-advanced toward accreditation by the SOA or CAS. Industry experience, although not required, will be given strong consideration.
