The Department of Public Health Sciences at the University of Virginia School of Medicine is seeking an established scientist to assume the position of Director of its Division of Biostatistics and to lead new research initiatives in the School of Medicine. The Department and the Division have a history of deep commitment to developing new approaches for the interpretation and management of basic and applied health-related data so that both UVA investigators and their patients as well as the public can make informed and equitable health care choices The successful candidate will have the credentials to be earn tenure in the rank of Associate Professor or Professor in the School of Medicine’s Academic Investigator track with a nationally recognized research program, a record of scholarly achievement, and outstanding leadership abilities.
