The Department of Statistics invites applicants for the role of Director of the Center for Statistical Consulting. As Center Director, this individual will work closely with leaders of multiple campus entities including the School of Medicine and the Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS) to facilitate a unified approach to statistical consulting throughout the UCI campus. As part of this unified approach, the Director will take on statistical leadership roles within UCI and ICTS. The Director will oversee the consulting activities of the Center and will be responsible for providing timely, efficient, and state-of-the-art statistical consultation for UCI faculty and trainees requesting study design input and advice at early stages of research project development. The Director will be responsible for implementing a sound and effective fiscal management strategy for the Center.
