The Department of Biostatistics, School of Public Health at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor faculty position. This is a 12-month, full-time position. A doctoral degree in biostatistics, mathematics or a related discipline is required. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with other established investigators and develop an independent line of research. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in at least one of the following areas: biostatistical research methods, clinical trials, or statistical genetics research. Graduate level teaching (at least 1 course per year) will be required.
