The Department of Mathematics at the University of Mount Union is seeking a Mathematics Professor who is energetic and committed to undergraduate teaching. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to quality teaching at the undergraduate level and should be able to teach a wide range of mathematics courses, particularly statistics and applied mathematics courses.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in statistics or applied mathematics.
Available: August 1, 2019.
Compensation: Competitive, based on qualifications. Fringe benefits include a 10% contribution by the University to TIAA/CREF after one year of service; contribution by the University toward hospitalization, major medical, disability, and group life insurance; tuition exchange for qualified dependents.
