The Department of Statistics of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, is seeking candidates for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in the area of statistics and/or probability. The position is designed to be a career-building step for new scholars. The primary focus is for the scholar to develop her/his research program. A light teaching load will also be part of the position. The position will start in Summer 2019 and continue for two years with a possible extension to three years. A competitive salary will be provided.
Candidates should show outstanding capacity for research, as well as excellent communication skills. Applicants must have a Ph.D. from an accredited institution.
