As a Clinical Research Senior Scientist, you will serve a dual role as a clinical research coordinator and clinical studies data analyst for non-infectious disease diagnostics in the Research and Development division. You will be coordinating internal and external clinical studies for early biomarker discovery. You will also provide statistical and bioinformatics support to the Research and Development clinical studies team.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the coordination and administration of clinical studies under the direction of the Clinical Research Manager.
Develops experimental structure for applying appropriate statistical application to data presentation for clinical studies.
Analyzes, presents and publishes study results and other research projects, collaborating with internal and/or external scientists, and other subject matter experts as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Prepares, administrates, and coordinates internal and external clinical studies, with a strong interest in further developing these skills.

Knowledge and experience with statistical programming, (SAS, S-Plus/R, Matlab, etc.) and proficiency with EXCEL and JMP/Minitab or equivalent statistical software.
Ability to frame a complex diagnostic question appropriately, develop an analytical strategy, assemble the relevant data and results to clearly communicate a coherent set of conclusions.
Demonstrated ability to produce written reports that succinctly describe the study purpose, experimental structure, statistical analysis and conclusions & recommendations.
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority.
Excellent teaching ability; can communicate complex statistical methods in a manner that is understandable to recipients of statistical analyses.
Ability to manage projects and develop and lead others
Previous experience with clinical studies desired
