The Department of Statistics and Data Science at the University of Central
Florida (UCF) seeks to hire two nine-month, tenure-track assistant professors
of statistics, anticipated to begin in August 2020. The successful candidates
will contribute to teaching in the undergraduate and graduate programs and
are expected to develop an externally funded, nationally competitive research
program in big data analytics. A competitive startup package is available.
The Department of Statistics and Data Science at UCF currently offers a B.S.
in Statistics, a B.S. in Actuarial Science, an M.S. in Statistical Computing with
a track in Data Mining, and a Ph.D. in Big Data Analytics.
