The Department of Mathematics in the College of Social Sciences, Mathematics and Education at The University of Tampa is seeking candidates for a tenure-track position in statistics at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin fall 2020.
The University of Tampa is a medium-sized, comprehensive, residentially based private institution of 9,200 undergraduate and graduate students. The University is ideally situated on a beautiful 110-acre campus next to the Hillsborough River, adjacent to Tampa's dynamic central business district, which is a growing, vibrant, diverse metropolitan area. Responsibilities will include teaching three, four-credit statistics and/or other mathematics courses at the undergraduate level, performing statistical research, advising and working with students outside of the classroom, university service, and a strong commitment to teaching excellence.
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in statistics, mathematics with a concentration in statistics, biostatistics, or related field.
