Teaching a variety of undergraduate courses in mathematics and statistics and graduate courses in statistics, maintaining an on-going program of research and scholarly activity, and participation in university and departmental service.
Ph.D. in Statistics or Applied Statistics or Data Science by August 15, 2020. ABDs will be considered with a letter from their advisor indicating the expected graduation date and their progress towards completing the Ph.D by August 15, 2020.
Must have at least some collegiate teaching experience in mathematics or statistics courses at the level of the introductory college Statistics course or the Calculus sequence or below. Evidence of outstanding teaching ability. An active research program or demonstrated strong potential for research. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The letter of application must address the candidate’s interest and expertise in teaching, research, and consulting, where the teaching statement specifically addresses strategies to build inclusive environments for student success.
