We are actively recruiting Senior Statisticians with Master’s or Doctorate degrees.
The Senior Statistician works under the direction of the Director of Data Management and Analytics at CORE to provide comprehensive statistical support for quality of care and outcomes research studies. This includes managing and integrating data from various sources, developing analytic plans for research projects, conducting analyses, presenting the results, and preparing the results for publication.
We are looking for individuals who desire to contribute to the design and analysis of our research projects and seek substantive scientific and statistical responsibilities and contributions.
All applicants should have both strong analytical skills and communication skills, and experience working with clinical or health care data.

Master or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, or relevant field.
At least four years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills and Experience:
Coursework in generalized linear, generalized linear mixed, survival, and Bayesian models and/or machine learning methods.
Advanced knowledge and related work experience utilizing statistical programming such as SAS, R and Python.
Strong ability to communicate technical ideas and results to non-technical customers in written and verbal formats.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment and manage/prioritize multiple projects to ensure their quality and on-time delivery.
Adaptable and innovative in conducting statistical analysis while still being reliable, professional, flexible, careful and thorough.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Previous work experience as the primary statistician for healthcare services or medical field projects.
Experience with healthcare data, particularly Medicare or other insurance claims data, clinical registry, Electronic Health Records (EHR), or patient reported outcomes for statistical analysis.
