The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking statistics and biostatistics researchers for full-time faculty positions. Candidates who are interested in conducting their own funded independent research (applied and/or methodological developments in Psychiatry and related disciplines) are sought. The successful candidates will also prioritize engaging in statistical collaborations with clinical/scientific investigators who lead internationally recognized research programs in multiple domains of psychiatry. Expertise in genetics/transcriptomics, ecological momentary assessment, high dimensional data analysis, structural equation modeling, and/or complex or adaptive clinical trial designs is preferred. Because growth is sought in these areas, multiple positions are available at the assistant and associate levels. Primary selection criteria are history of productivity and collaboration and the ability to enhance an interactive and dynamic research community within and across departments in the greater Pittsburgh academic environment.
Successful candidates will join a vibrant and highly collaborative research community with a long history of excellence in basic, translational and clinical research. The Department of Psychiatry is prepared to invest substantial resources to ensure success.
Interested candidates should submit their curriculum vitae and a research statement to email@example.com.
