Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking doctoral-level biostatisticians to fill multiple open-rank faculty positions. Individuals will have the opportunity to engage in collaborative research with investigators studying the full spectrum of problems in cancer research, pursue their independent research interests, provide mentoring to junior faculty, and become leaders throughout the institution and the oncology community in cancer research methods.
Successful candidates will join an existing group of 41 biostatisticians (16 faculty and 25 research staff), which include five ASA fellows, editors of leading journals, and presidents of international societies. The current interests of the faculty include methodology for the design and analysis of clinical trials, epidemiologic studies, genomics, statistical genetics, diagnostic test evaluations, survival analysis, computer intensive methods, hierarchical modeling, and Bayesian techniques.
