Data analysis/processing, Mathematics, Statistical organization & administration
Data Analyst, Synchrony Bank, Charlotte, NC. Partner with clients to deliver on key statistical analysis to drive sales and profitability. Plan new processes for sales and accounts, while working with key stakeholders to understand forecast assumptions and explain variances to actual performance. Develop business case presentations and action plans to drive marketing strategy, including targeting recommendations, test design, product opportunities and cost/benefit analysis. Design implementation strategies for new targeting models and understand performance.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, and three (3) years of related work experience.
Must have three (3) years of experience with/in:
Performing marketing and/or customer, risk analytics at a multi-product/multi-channel financial services organization;
Conducting statistical analysis using programming tools (SAS or SQL) and visualization tools (Birst or Tableau);
Providing analytic support including pulling data, preparing analysis, interpreting data, making strategic recommendations and presenting to clients;
Direct marketing with both acquisition and loyalty/lifecycle channels; and,
Identifying compliance and regulatory issues related to marketing in a client environment.
