Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Position in Statistical Data Science

The Department of Statistics at the University of Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor in the area of statistical data science, starting August 1, 2021. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Statistics or a related discipline by the time of appointment. Scholarly credentials should reflect a strong commitment to research and teaching in the statistical aspects of data science and show demonstrated potential in research and instruction. The successful applicant will be expected to develop a research program that will be competitive for external funding, be engaged in the activities of the department, and play a major role in building the University’s missions in research and teaching.
