Assurance Manager - Property and Casualty (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Chicago, IL. Help clients with actuarial modernization, process improvement, risk and capital management, deals, and financial reporting. Perform product profitability, value, and risk analysis. Prepare concise, accurate documents. Participate in project planning, administration and economics. Address questions on technical matters from team members and clients. Assist with actuarial-related audit and consulting services and insurance tax-related services.  Perform budget estimation for existing clients. Assist with a complete range of actuarial activities, including: model validation reviews for reserving and financial models utilized by insurance clients. Establish and maintain client relationships. 

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Actuarial Science, Business Management, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s progressive related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Actuarial Science, Business Management, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 3 year of related work experience.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

- Utilizing spreadsheets, database, and other actuarial software-related technologies to perform conduct economic capital model validation;

- Conducting analysis of Actuarial and quantitative modeling;

- Interpreting and applying on accounting standards (e.g., FASB, IFRS) as they apply to actuarial consulting and risk analyses to clients; and

- Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters related to Property and Casualty-related matters within the context of US federal, state and local regulations and industry board standards.

Travel up to 20% required.
