Summary: The NCDB (National Cancer Database) Analytics team performs a variety of quantitative analytic functions for the NCDB team and in support of multiple cancer programs (e.g., American Joint Committee on Cancer). The Statistician I performs data management, data quality assurance, quality improvement and statistical analyses using NCDB datasets. This person executes analytic plans under the guidance and supervision of senior staff and management. This exempt level position will report to the Manager, NCDB Analytics and Quality Reporting in the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care. Primary Responsibilities:
Required Education and/or Experience:
Physical/Work Environment: Fast paced with significant people interaction. No lifting over 20 pounds, minimal reaching bending and stooping. Normal office environment with long hours in front of the computer. Other Necessary Requirements: Evening or weekend duties may be required. Minimal travel for activities such as out of town meetings may be required.
