Provides support for administrative and research activities related to the Jefferson Longitudinal Study (JLS) such as data collection, data management, maintenance, updating, and documentation. Prepares summary data (tables, graphical presentations) for internal reports, publications in peer-reviewed journals, and presentations in national and international meetings. Performs univariate and multivariate statistical analyses, as well as psychometric analysis of research instruments of the JLS. Involvement in multi-institutional and nationwide projects in medical education.

Preparing reports and interpretations of findings from statistical analyses.

Involvement with data collection and management, statistical analyses, and writing reports in medical education research.
Bachelor’s degree required. Masters’ degree preferred, preferably in psychological, educational or social sciences, statistics, or related fields. Experience using SAS for multivariate statistical analyses and data management.
Skills in using MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint. Skills and experience preparing portions of manuscripts and research proposals, as well as verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work on multiple tasks. Familiarity with relational database management systems such as MS Access or SQL is desirable. R and Python programming skills are desirable. Experience in projects using healthcare database for research is desirable. Familiarity of psychometric analyses is desirable.
