The Department of Mathematics at Texas Christian University (TCU) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position with a focus in Statistics or Actuarial Science beginning in August 2023. The successful applicant will be interested in assuming a long-term leadership role in our Actuarial Science program and also supporting our joint Data Science program with the Department of Computer Science. Expectations with respect to the Actuarial Science program will include teaching upper-level statistics courses, mentoring undergraduate research projects, and, eventually, undergraduate advising, career placement support, and administrative responsibility for the program.
