Individuals specializing in statistical methods for large and complex or massive data are especially encouraged to apply. The Department of Statistics is an academic department within the College of Letters and Science at the University of California, Davis. the Department has active undergraduate and graduate programs. Current we have 24 faculty, over 200 graduate students (offering both Masters and Ph.D. programs) and over 700 declared undergraduate majors. Davis is a college community with good transport links, centrally located between the San Francisco Bay Area and the Sierra Nevada mountains.
