The Cleveland Clinic Health System (CC) is searching for a doctoral level faculty member to join its multidisciplinary Department of Quantitative Health Sciences on the Cleveland, Ohio main campus. This is a full-time position consisting of 70% designing/analyzing clinical trials and observational studies with investigators from the CC’s Digestive Disease and Surgery Institute (DDSI), and 30% independent research. A doctoral degree with expertise in biostatistics and/or epidemiology is required. The position includes a non-tenured appointment to the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University at rank commensurate with experience. Candidates should enjoy collaborating on and bringing creative analytic approaches to complex problems in health care and have a strong desire to publish journal articles. Excellent English written and oral communication skills are essential.
This is a ‘hard money’ position with no explicit requirements to obtain salary support.

PhD in Biostatistics, Epidemiology or a related discipline.
Knowledge of and experience with design and analytical methods for clinical trials.
Experience as a collaborative biostatistician in a clinical setting.
Ability and desire to lead a team of MS-level biostatisticians supporting DDSI research.
