Job Summary
The Department of Health Services Management and Policy at the East Tennessee State University College of Public Health is recruiting for three (3) full-time Faculty Research Associate (12-month, non-tenure track) positions to support and advance its growing research programs. These faculty positions will be affiliated with the Center for Applied Research and Evaluation in Women’s Health. A multi-year research grant funds the positions focused on reducing unintended pregnancy and expanding access to reproductive health services. The positions are ideal for researchers interested in advancing the science around reproductive and maternal health care and policy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and collaborating on analyses of quantitative and qualitative data; development and implementation of analytic strategy; management of datasets; the application of appropriate research methods; interpretation of findings; and maintaining effective communication with project leaders and key partners. This position will contribute to research planning and dissemination of findings. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of investigators, staff, and research assistants. Candidates with demonstrated skills or potential in MCH, reproductive health, and/or evaluation research will be given priority.

Required Qualifications
Doctoral degree in public health/social sciences, statistics, or a related field, or, Master’s degree with 2 – 3 years of work experience managing and supporting public health research or evaluation.
