The Department of Statistics at Colorado State University invites applications for two Administrative Professional Research Associate statistical and/or data science collaborator positions in the Graybill Statistics & Data Science Laboratory within the Department of Statistics.
For the Administrative Professional Research Associate II position:
Applicants must hold a MS degree in statistics, biostatistics, data science, or a closely related discipline and have statistical computing software experience (R, SAS, Python, etc.).

For both positions:
Preferred qualifications include: Three years of experience in applied/collaborative statistics and/or data science; Demonstrated experience to communicate, written and orally, technical topics to non-technical audiences; and collaborative proposal writing experience, especially related to study design and proposed analysis.
The department currently comprises 21 faculty and over 100 graduate students in our MS, MAS, and PhD graduate programs, and has a network of faculty affiliates at nearby research agencies (National Center for Atmospheric Research, National Institute of Standards and Technology, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, among others). Our faculty members have a wide range of expertise and are involved in various interdisciplinary graduate training and research activities. Internal and external consulting activities of the department are supported through the Graybill Statistics and Data Science Laboratory.
