Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education starting August 2024. With close to 40 primary faculty members, more than 250 undergraduate majors and 70 graduate students, a masters’ program with several concentrations (including mathematics education), and a robust Ph.D. program, the Department remains one of the largest and most diverse departments in the College of Science. Currently, the department is home to five tenure-track and two full-time non-tenure track faculty in mathematics education. These faculty teach courses within the department and advise students in both the master’s program and the Ph.D. program in Curriculum and Instruc
