The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG) seeks applications for a tenure-track position at the rank Assistant, Associate or Full Professor to begin August 1, 2025. All areas of Statistics and Data Science are welcome. Commitment to developing or continuing a research program, broadly defined to include collaborative research and consulting, preferably involving undergraduate students.
The ideal candidate is expected to teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, direct graduate student projects and undergraduate student research, establish and maintain an active research program and provide service to the department, university and profession. Additional consideration will be given to candidates with experience in consulting and collaborative research.
Candidates must hold or anticipate a PhD in statistics or a closely related field by August 1, 2025. Tenure will be offered at the Associate or Full rank depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications. EOE AA/M/F/D/V
