Augsburg University offers a minor in Statistics, a major and minor in Data Science, and a major in Mathematics with a focus on Statistics for students preparing for graduate work in Statistics. The Statistics and Data Science program includes two applied mathematicians, one computer scientist, and one statistician (this position), and is housed within the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science, which has a total of thirteen full-time faculty.
