Assistant Professor of Statistical and Data Sciences
The Statistical and Data Sciences Program at Smith College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin July 1, 2025. Successful candidates should be prepared to engage actively with diverse students across the liberal arts. Teaching responsibilities for this position will include 2 courses per semester. The candidate should be prepared to teach introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses across the data science and statistics curriculum, including those covering topics such as data ethics and social justice, machine learning, and responsible and equitable AI.
