The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Statistics to begin August 1, 2025. All areas of statistics and data science will be considered. Our new colleague will have opportunities to support the growth of a new major in statistics and data science by developing new courses and teaching existing courses at introductory, intermediate, and advanced undergraduate levels. We welcome candidates who will contribute to inclusive excellence initiatives and engage in student and faculty research collaborations. This position carries a 3-2 teaching load with a research leave prior to tenure review of either a full year at 80% salary or a semester at full salary, and generous sabbatical
