The Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences of Marquette University invites applications for a tenure-track position in the broad area of Foundations of Data Science and AI at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin in August 2025. Subfields include mathematical or statistical machine learning, topological data analysis, geometric data analysis, causal inference, optimization, data-driven modeling, uncertainty quantification, applications of novel AI methodology.
